         06.12.02 - MIKA is "Spaniel of the Year 2002 "

        We are delighted to announce and really just like a big surprise 

        from Santa Claus too, we got today the Confirmation about a new

        great award for our most loving ESS Foogel Spotlight "Mika", who is         

        Spaniel of the Year 2002 

                       by Jagdspaniel Club e.V.

          For sure, those kinds of competitions are really very hard with some times 

          ups and downs among so much great exponents of all different spaniel breeds.

          Our Mika got already his first points in Junior Class, where he won already in 

          age of only 11 month his first BIS just after his first BIG-1 win only one week 

          before. We are extremely proud about our sweet darling Mika, who started his

          show career really successful. He ended this year nearly two years old with his 

          already 14. BOB win and after a break he will enter the showring again next spring.

          Mika is already the 4.th ESS, who got this great award and so we also want to mention 

          all the others on this occasion too, which are really excellent and most successful ESS. 

          We are very happy, that this wonderful breed is so well presented here in Germany too.

           12.11.02 - MIKA "Austrian Club-Champion "

         Just like a birthday present for our wonderful Mika we got 

            today the document from the Austrian Jagdspaniel Club and 

            we can proudly announce, that our English Springer Spaniel 

            Foogel Spotlight "Mika" gained a new great award, like one

            more Champion title too and is now

            06.10.02 - SZS Bechhofen

               Our ESS Foogel Spotlight "Mika" was really successful again on  the

               special Spaniel Show in Bechhofen and got there under the german judge,

               Mr. Ado Cornelius, V1, Anw.Dt.Ch.(VDH), CAC and ended this great day 

               by winning

   " Incredible Show-weekend in Austria " 

        29.09.02 - 95. Years Jubilee Clubwinnershow ÖJSpK in Bad Vöslau 

           Just only one day later we have entered Mika again on the 95. Years Jubilee 

             Clubshow in Bad Vöslau from the austrian Jagdspaniel Club e.V.

             It must be mentioned, that this event was held in a most wonderful decorated hall,

             likewise with many nice photos from all Spaniel breeds on the walls and everything was

             looking very nice. Our big praise to the great showteam, which has organized this show 

             really well.

             Our Mika got there under the judge for the breed, FCI President Mr. H. Müller, Swiss,

             again Excellent 1, CACA and even he won BOB and got the great title

             But it seems, that this was not enough for our young man and finally he crowned 

             this absolutely most successful show-weekend under the swiss Judgeteam by winning

        What a big surprise as an austrian TV Team visited this show and they maked 

             an interview with Kerstin about her very successful English Springer Spaniel 

             "Foogel Spotlight - Mika" like a movie about him too !!! We are really thrilled

             to see our wonderful Mika as a little TV-Star in Austria !!  

            28.09.02 - Federal Winner Show in Tulln   

            Also this year we have visited this wonderful country Austria again,

              where we have entered our lovely Mika on the Federal Winner Show in Tulln.

    It`s really one of the most wonderful Showplaces, which we ever seen and

    it`s worth to visit this great event. We could met there many nice Spaniel 

    friends and it was a very harmonious Show in really very friendly atmosphere. 

    Our ESS Foogel Spotlight "Mika"startet there in Intermediate Class and got

    there Excellent 1, CACA, CACIB, like Qualification for Crufts 2003 too

   and even he won

            Just nearly one year later it happened again !!! It was such a great feeling to

               present our wonderful Mika in especially this big and wonderful Honorary Showring, 

               where he enjoyed it so much and full of spirit, at last to have finally really enough place,

               to present there his fantastic movement in absolutely great showperformance, and 

               won under the judge Mrs. Anna Theres Stuifbergen-Hoetjes, NL his 2.nd

         15.09.02 - SZS Leipzig

             Our Mika was shown once again on a special Spaniel-Show

               and got there Excellent 2, Res.Anw.Dt.Ch.(VDH) and finally 

               Res. CAC too - Judge Mr. Dr. P. Beyersdorf, Germany

         08.09.02 - SZS Zierenberg

              We have entered our "Mika" on a special Spaniel-Show quite near

               our home in Eschwege and he was there very successful again. Among

               a very hard competition our wonderful ESS Foogel Spotlight "Mika" got 

               there  Excellent 1, Anw.Dt.Ch. (VDH), CAC and  we are just so happy, 

               that he even won

             01.09.02 - Exposition Canine Internationale in Luxembourg

               First time  we have entered our lovable "Mika" on an International Show

               in Luxembourg. For our own extremely big joy he got there Excellent 1, CACL,

               CACIB and  finally he won his

          We are really very, very happy about this great result ! During the time, when we are

                 on big tours with our sunshine "Mika", our "Grand old Tinoman", already over

                 12 years old, enjoyed his stay by Kerstin`s wonderful parents, where he is spoiled 

                 and mostly loved like by us too.

 

                

                                        

             25.08.02 - SZS Hamburg

 

                For a change in the north of Germany, we have entered our "Mika" on the SZS

                in Hamburg on a very nice showarea and everything was very well organized. 

                Mika got there V2, Res.Anw.Dt.Ch.(VDH) and Res. CAC - 

                Judge -  Mrs.. Kappetijn, Germany

             10.08.02 - SZS Berlin-Frohnau

               Our finnish ESS Foogel Spotlight "Mika" got, after he recieved since the 

               beginning of his certainly very successful Showcareer with 21 x the rating

               Excellent, under the likewise finnish judge Mrs. Paula Heikinnen-Lehkonnen,

               "Very Good 2 " ! Really not at all a good day for our sweet darling Mika, which 

                we love from the whole of our hearts and we are just so happy with this extremely

      wonderful English Springer Spaniel.

         28.07.02 - Europäische Spanielshow in Nürtingen

             This year the European Spaniel Show was held in Germany by the Jagdspaniel-

               Klub e.V.  and there were 265 Spaniels entered out of different countries. 

     Our lovely English Springer Spaniel Foogel Spotlight "Mika" got there

     Excellent 2, Res.Anw.Dt.Ch.(VDH)  and finally he got even Res. CAC too.

           07.07.02 - World Winner Dog Show 2002 in Amsterdam

               This year we have participated with our ESS Foogel Spotlight "Mika" the most

               important event from all Shows - the great World Winner Dog Show in Amster-

               dam. Really a very interesting Show, where 81 ESS were entered from different

     countries and it was very nice to meet there many friends again and get to know

     some wellknown breeders too. It was such a wonderful feeling during the best male

     competition to be together with our lovely Mika in the showring with so great ESS

               and many people around the showring have applouded around us - really a very im-

               pressed atmosphere.

                 

     We are very happy and can proudly announce, that our ESS "Mika" was very success-

     ful again and even he was one of the 5.th best males from the World Winner Dog Show 2002 !!!!!

               He has won with Excellent 1 - Judge: Mr. N.Huidobro Corbett, E

             For our own big joy we have met there Mika`s very nice breeder, Mrs. Senja Mäkinen,

             too and she could see him again after he has left his wonderful puppyhome by Kennel Foogel.

             06.07.02 - Championship Clubshow in Almere-Haven, NL

             Already one day before the World Winner Dog Show in Amsterdam we 

     visited with Mika the Championship Clubshow  from the ESSCN. Mika got

     there Excellent 2 under the judge Mr. J. Thirlwell. It was a very big joy for us to 

     meet there the very nice breeders Diane & Bea Gunn of the famous Kennel

     Strathnaver from Mika`s wonderful and great father - FIN CH Strathnaver Hells

     Angel "Magnus". They are also very proud about Mika and I think, he has

     remind them a little bit about Magnus too. We are also really happy about our very

     nice contact with them.

             23.06.02 - SZS Nürnberg  

                Just the next day we visited the SZS in Großhabersdorf. It was there a

                wonderful place for Shows and a very hot day with really high degrees.

                Everything was very well organized and among a very strong competition

      our  ESS Foogel Spotlight "Mika" has won again V1, Anw.Dt.Ch. (VDH),

                CAC and even he won finally - Judge: Mr. Z. Antonovic, CZ

             It was a very nice day for us in Großhabersdorf and especially we like this

                wonderful present in memory of this Show so much too - really something

                very special ! 

 

  

              22.06.02 - CACIB Frankfurt

              Our "Mika" was very successful again on the Intern. Show in Frankfurt

                 and has won his class with V1, Anw. Dt.Ch. (VDH) and we are really very

                 happy, that he got  Res.CACIB too - Judge Mrs. R. Sommer, Deutschland.

         25.05.02 - SZS Siegen

             On our first Show outside this year by very rainy and stormy weather at the beginning,

                Foogel Spotlight "Mika" was very successful again in the Showring and got again 

                Excellent 1, Anw.Dt.Ch.(VDH), CAC and for our own big joy he has won his 8. th

BIS Competition

                On  26.05.02 we went to the Special Spaniel Show in Krefeld. The sun was shining, but not so 

                much for us. Just mentioned, that this was a very well organized Show with really beautiful 

                decorated Showrings.                   

                Mika got there V2, Res.Anw.Dt.Ch. (VDH) - Judge Mr. Dr. P. Beyersdorf, Germany.

      

           19.05.02 - CACIB Saarbrücken

               Foogel Spotlight "Mika" was very successful on the CACIB in Saarbrücken too.

               He got again in Open Class V1, Anw.Dt.Ch. (VDH) with  Res.CACIB , which makes

               us very happy. It was a very harmonious Show with a really friendly atmosphere bet-

               ween all people there, which is unfortunately not usual on every Show.

     Our Showleader, Mrs. Rita Schade, has decorated our Showring very beautiful and

     everything was really well organized.

               It was a very nice day for us in Saarbrücken  - Judge Mr. v. Bael, B

         And of course our referee from the Showcommittee, Mr. H. Bringe, was as all the time, in action again and

         has presented and documented our Spanielbreeds really well on the occasion of the arrangement on this Show

         04.05.02 - SZS Dortmund

             What for an unforgetable day and big joy for us, as our most lovely ESS   

               Foogel Spotlight "Mika" has won again  Excellent 1, Anw.Dt.Ch. (VDH), 

               CAC & BOB too. But this was not enough for this young man and finally he

               finished with great style his day by winning for the 2.nd time

                                      Best in Show !!!!

               On 05.05.02 Mika was shown  on the European Winner Show in Dortmund too, but this day 

                passed really different as we had hoped before and he ended now , already as Austrian and German

               Junior Champion (Club), his absolutely great and most successful time in Youngster Class with

               Excellent 2  - Judge Mrs. S. Warnecke, Germany.                                                                   

         14.04.02 - SZS Obernkirchen

            Foogel Spotlight "Mika" has got again on his 2.nd Show in Open Class, 

              Excellent 1 and his 2. nd Anw.Dt.Ch. (VDH). 

              BOB has won "High Society aus der Gerberstadt" - our very best congratulation

              to her very proud owners - Judge: Mrs. C. Dierolf, Germany.      

 

               16.03.02 - International Show in Offenburg

                Foogel Spotlight "Mika" has won again on his first International Show

                in Offenburg in 2002 with great style and first time in Open Class among 

                a very strong competition from ESS out of Austria, Swiss and Germany.

                He got Excellent 1, Anw.Dt.Ch.(VDH), CAC, his 1. st CACIB and finally he won
